For his heart, the Mate 20 X has the new Kirin 980, like his younger brothers. With 7-nanometer process technology that promises significantly improved performance, speed and energy efficiency. The Chinese manufacturer highlights the conjunction of the CPU and the GPU, with the new Dual-NPU, that coprocessor oriented to artificial intelligence tasks. With these widgets and the presence of GPU Turbo 2.0 technology, the hardware and software of this terminal promise to work together to offer, they say, an innovative gaming experience even in complex and graphically intensive games.
And thinking of these gamers adept at mobile phones, Huawei presents what it claims to be the world's first multidimensional liquid cooling system with a steam chamber and graphene film used in smartphones. A method that ensures being able to conduct heat quickly and keep the device cool so that playing does not turn out to be a literally scorching experience because of the temperature.
But the Mate 20 X has two faces: it is linked to entertainment and another linked to productivity. One for which it adds interesting functions.
The most outstanding is, without doubt, the support of a stylus. Specifically Huawei M-Pen, becoming the first terminal of the Chinese brand to have one. This accessory, which must be purchased separately, has 4,096 levels of pressure and serves, like others of its kind, to write by hand on the phone, take quick notes or draw.
We can not finish this initial review of Huawei Mate 20 X without dwelling on the importance of artificial intelligence or its trio of Leica cameras, in which precisely computational intelligence plays an important role as is customary in the brand. The cameras of this huge device claim to be able to recognize more than 1,500 scenarios, divided into 25 categories. Thanks to this recognition of artificial intelligence that incorporates, cameras are able to segment different objects and planes of the same photo by applying to each one the automatic adjustment that best suits them.
